During the winter of 2017-2018, Het Syrische Comite continued to send relief aid to the displaced from all Syrian regions in the camps in northern Syria, where winter supplies were collected with the help of Syrian and Dutch volunteers, and other aid was collected with the help of several churches and mosques in the Netherlands.
Through this campaign, three containers containing more than 45 tons of relief materials were received, benefiting 4,500 families.
The campaign focused on medical supplies, containing more than 100 medical items for people with permanent injuries.
Syrian and Dutch activists and volunteers participated in the sorting and packaging of items collected in the warehouse through group work.
The load contained school materials from some Dutch schools, bringing together about 1,000 school bags delivered by Dutch children, who also sent their love to Syrian children and wished them a better life.
