Under the title (Freedom does not die), Het Syrische Comite commemorated the eleventh anniversary of the start of the Syrian revolution, which began in March 2011 with peaceful demonstrations seeking to overthrow the regime of Bashar al-Assad and establish a democratic system that equals all Syrians with their different orientations and opinions. Dozens of Syrian and Dutch activists participated in this stand with a message that the Syrian people’s demand for freedom and dignity will one day be fulfilled.
